AUDIO CONVERTER RCA-XLR

CVT42XR - Passive audio converter RCA<>XLR balanced unbalanced selector with 4IN (RCA1, RCA2, XLR1, XLR2) to 2OUT (RCA out , XLR out)

This unique and flexible design provides easy switching and/or signal converting of 4 input sources (2 balanced (XLR1, XLR2) and 2 unbalanced (RCA1, RCA2)) connected respectively via XLR and  RCA connectors. It offers 2 outputs: RCA out and XLR out.

The selected input can be routed DIRECTLY ( [RCA1 or RCA2 to RCA out], [XLR1 or XLR2 to XLR out] ) and/or CONVERTED ( [RCA1 or RCA2 to XLR out], [XLR1 or XLR2 to RCA out] ).

This is a passive design as it doesn't need any power source.

It uses only high quality components:

• 3 pairs of RCA NEUTRIK (2 pairs for IN, and 1 pair for OUT)
• 2 pairs XLR connectors Female 3pin NEUTRIK (for IN)
• 1 pair XLR connectors Male 3pin NEUTRIK (for OUT)
• 2 audio transformers for audio conversion from Balanced to Unbalanced NEUTRIK
• 2 audio transformers for audio conversion from Unbalanced to Balanced NEUTRIK
• 1 Rotary Switch GRAYHILL (gold over silver plated contacts) for INPUT selection (RCA1, RCA2, XLR1, XLR2)
• 2 Rotary Switches GRAYHILL (gold over silver plated contacts) for OUTPUT selection (RCA, XLR)
• 3 massive aluminum knobs
• Silver plated OCC copper internal wiring
• 1 metallic case (BLACK color) with front and back panels in 3mm aluminum with engraved text, dimensions (mm) : 330x170x44mm (without feet)
• 4x aluminum feet 30x10mm, black.
